Bel Announces Richard E. Hamilton as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

WEST ORANGE, N.J., Sept. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bel Fuse Inc. (Nasdaq: BELFA and BELFB) ("Bel" or the "Company"), a global manufacturer of electronic components, systems and solutions, today announced that Richard E. Hamilton will join the Company as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary effective September 28, 2026.

Mr. Hamilton will lead Bel’s global legal function and serve as a strategic advisor to the Company’s executive leadership team and Board of Directors. In his role as Corporate Secretary, he will oversee corporate governance and Board matters, while supporting the Company’s public-company reporting, regulatory compliance, commercial activities, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and other legal matters.

“We are excited to welcome Rich to Bel,” said Farouq Tuweiq, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer. “His extensive experience advising global businesses, leading complex legal organizations, and managing matters involving corporate governance, compliance, transactions, and international operations will be valuable as Bel continues to scale its global platform and support customers across aerospace, defense, industrial, and data infrastructure markets.”

“I am honored to join Bel at such a pivotal time,” said Hamilton. “The Company has built a strong legacy through its people, its innovation, and its commitment to the customers it serves. I am excited to help build on that foundation and for the future – supporting Bel’s continued growth, strengthening Legal and Compliance into a business-enabling function, and working alongside an incredibly talented Leadership Team as we drive the Company forward.”
